The Healing Process
Taking care of your new brows after treatment is extremely important to how your eyebrows will look after they are fully healed and the longevity of your eyebrows.
Our Modern Beauty ACA Master Artists created a masterpiece fused with your own natural beauty, as they were trained to do, but taking care of it afterwards is your responsibility so we highly recommend to follow these aftercare instructions methodically:
Combo brows After Care
For the SUCCESS of this procedure it is essential to follow the subsequent care instructions:
30 Minutes: After treatment, wash brows with lukewarm water, pat dry, and apply skin candy (just dab)
Repeat the same procedure (washing the eyebrows) every 2 hours during the first two days. If your treatment was done in the afternoon, you should sleep with adhesive plastic in the area of the eyebrows, to prevent the for-mation of scabs, and when you get up do the required cleaning.
Days 1-3
Brows will start developing a thin layer of scab, continue keeping your brows dry and clean.
Days 3-7
It is necessary that you maintain adequate hygiene by washing your eyebrows 2 times a day and apply the cream that was given to you.
WHAT NOT TO USE DURING THE FIRST 10 DAYS:
1. DO NOT use creams or facial products
2. DO NOT expose to the sun
3. DO NOT use make-up
4. No Pools, beach, sauna and steam rooms
5. DO NOT expose them to water directly in the shower
6. DO NOT Exercise (avoid sweating)
7. Don’t scratch your brows
8. Sleep on your back
Days 28-42
Your brows are healed and you're feeling unstoppable!
*It is normal that during the first week you will notice that your eyebrows are thick and dark, This will eventually decrease in thickness and color due to oxidation. It is normal that during the second week, you will notice the color is quite faint or "patchy". The final color will be seen in approximately 4 weeks after the procedure and during the 6th week you will return for your touch-up appointment. Remember that if you miss your touch-up appointment, the replacement appointment will incur an additional cost.
Maintaining Your brows
A new set of Microbladed eyebrows takes two appointments to complete and for that reason the 6-8 weeks touch-up appointment is required. After this appointment we recommend a yearly touch-up to maintain the crispness and freshness of your brows. Depending on your fading we do offer different touch-up schedules as the fading process differs from person to person. You may need to get a touch-up sooner than one year.
